InstaDPDownload respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how copyright owners can notify us about allegedly infringing material on https://instadpdownload.net/ and how we handle counter-notifications under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) process we follow as a practical standard.

1. Important context about profile pictures
Our tool previews display pictures that Instagram already makes publicly available. Original authorship of a DP remains with the uploader or rights holder. Separately, our original website copy, guides, and branding are owned by InstaDPDownload. This Policy covers material hosted or published by us on instadpdownload.net (for example a blog image, guide text, or site graphic you believe infringes your copyright).

2. What a valid DMCA notice should contain
To act, email a written notice including all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature (typed full legal name is acceptable for email)
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (URL, registration number, or clear description)
- The exact URL(s) on instadpdownload.net where the allegedly infringing material appears
- Your mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf
Incomplete notices may be rejected or delayed. Do not send Instagram passwords or malware samples.

4. Our process after receiving a notice
- We review the notice for statutory completeness
- We may remove or disable access to the identified material on our site
- Where appropriate, we may notify the user or editor who published the material
- Repeat infringers may lose publishing privileges on our properties
We aim to acknowledge complete notices within a few business days. Emergency takedowns may be faster when infringement is clear and the material is under our control.
5. Counter-notification
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification including:
- Your signature
- Identification of the material removed and its prior location (URL)
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of appropriate courts, plus acceptance of service of process from the original complainant
Upon a valid counter-notice we may restore material unless the original complainant seeks a court order within the timelines contemplated by the DMCA framework.
6. Misrepresentation
Knowingly materially misrepresenting that material is infringing (or was removed by mistake) can create liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. File only accurate notices.
